Woodlands Estate is one of the Waikato’s most romantic wedding venues and a truly renowned historic homestead. The Estate has 15 acres of beautiful gardens and formal lawns providing plenty of opportunities to create special memories of your day. When choosing Woodlands for your wedding, the Estate becomes your home for the day.

Woodlands adds charm and elegance to your special day enabling you to feel relaxed and comfortable whilst utilising the upstairs rooms in the Homestead for your convenience. Our stunning gardens and lawns offer a variety of options for your ceremony options. An outdoor reception, dance floors and entertainment under a marque are equally possible.

The majestic Wisteria room can seat 150 family and friends with space for a band or DJ. Options are available for larger groups. The adjoining lawn and garden provide an indoor/outdoor flow and intimate setting, giving you the opportunity to hire and create an outdoor entertainment experience.

The majestic Wisteria room can be used for a variety of events and celebrations. Seating for up to 150 dining guests. Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery and glassware for up to 150 guests are all included. Talk to our Event Co-ordinator about options for larger groups. Linen is provided and charged separately.

The idyllic Kauri room, in the Homestead, offers an ideal space for business meetings, planning sessions, break-out spaces and small celebrations. Tables, chairs and whiteboard are included.
